About The Position

The Warehouse Technician is an entry-level position responsible for general activities within Operations including but not limited to unloading and loading trailers, moving and weighing assets, and sorting and disassembling assets. The role involves the deployment, management, and ultimate decommission and disposition of technology assets such as hard drives, servers, laptops, tablets, and network devices. This includes sanitizing, cleaning, and removing data from IT assets, and then recycling or repurposing them in a sustainable and environmentally sound way.

Requirements

English reading, writing, and communication skills
High school or equivalent degree
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of internet and data entry and of computer-related equipment
Lift up to 60 pounds regularly
Remain stationary and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
Climb a stepladder regularly
Stoop, crouch, kneel, push, and pull regularly
Operate tools and equipment

Responsibilities

Administer and operate the organization's warehouses, including processing, destruction, and storage of all physical assets.
Account for all assets in the store's facility.
Audit goods received into warehouse.
Oversee receipt, storage, moves, and shipment of assets and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
