About The Position
Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks and delivery vehicles.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Maintain current Forklift Driver certification
- Good organizational skills
- Strong attention to safety
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Use a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods between loading docks, storage areas, and work areas.
- Sort materials and supplies and prepare them according to work orders.
- Report any questionable conditions to the Receiving Clerk Lead, Production Manager, or Shop Foreman.
- Complete the safety inspection of the forklifts, as required.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and safely.
- Follow the prescribed safety regulations.
