ServiceMaster DSI provides restoration in Chicago and surrounding areas. With continued investment in education, the latest tools and technology, and expert training, we are industry leaders in disaster restoration cleaning and is known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike. We’re looking for a Warehouse Technician. This role manages our physical resources—including tools, vehicles, and equipment—ensures warehouse efficiency, and assists with equipment safety training for our field technicians. We are offering $22 - $25 per hour dependent on experience.

Requirements

Current Forklift Certification and DOT Certification.
Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
Basic computer and spreadsheet skills: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Drive) and mobile platforms (Android/iOS) is preferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and stand for long periods

Nice To Haves

IICRC certifications (WRT, Smoke, Odor, or Mold) or 4-Star Certification are highly preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Manage, track, and secure shop property, tools, and vehicles.
Monitor and manage shop consumables in partnership with Managers.
Coordinate pack-outs and move-backs with the Regional Packout Manager.
Ensure all restoration equipment is cleaned, tested, and operational.
Participate in the field on-call rotation as needed during peak times or disasters.
Assist with onboarding and training field technicians on proper equipment usage.
