About The Position

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking a Lead Warehouse Technician to provide essential warehouse services, ensuring the high-quality supply, storage, and distribution of goods. This role involves guiding the daily activities of Warehouse Technicians and Inventory Control Clerks, contributing to the operational effectiveness of the company. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant role, e.g., shipping/receiving goods/maintaining inventory.
• Warehouse environment experience.
• Experience operating forklift, articulating loaders, telehandler forklift.
• Demonstrated competence with office processes, systems, equipment and software.
• Computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Must display initiative, be able to work independently and learn what is needed to perform required tasks.
• Ability to get along with others as a team player, have an excellent work ethic and attendance record.
• Be able to pass a background check and post-offer physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular stock takes.
• Establish minimum/maximum stock levels.
• Attend daily pre-start meetings to ensure effective communication and safety.
• Accept deliveries from suppliers/freight companies.
• Maintain general day to day stores management.
• Deliver consumables where required.
• Facilitate transportation of high priority deliverables to site from local suppliers.
• Liaise with management to forecast future requirements of consumables.
• Assist with completing reports and issuance.
• Mentor current Warehouse Technicians.
• Maintain training records for all current and new employees.
• Train and mentor incoming Warehouse Technicians.
