About The Position

The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking, and other warehouse related tasks. This role requires accuracy in handling both hazardous and non-hazardous materials, meticulous record-keeping, and effective communication with freight carriers and internal teams. The position also involves maintaining safety standards, assisting with quality assurance, and performing preventive maintenance.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semi-conductor, and/or distribution industry.
  • Warehouse management system experience (TWL experience with an RF gun is preferred).
  • 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation.
  • HazMat Certified or willing to complete the necessary training within 90 days of hire.
  • May be required to possess a valid driver’s license and be subject to periodic DMV checks.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Sense of urgency in responsiveness.
  • Ability to adapt to workplace environment & organizational change.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, punctual, maintain good attendance and conscientious about production performance.
  • Knowledgeable of “two-tier” reporting, if applicable.
  • Computer literate in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping and receiving software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • TWL experience with an RF gun is preferred.
  • IATA certification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, and labeling.
  • Inventory tracking, including monitoring bin locations, shelf life, FIFO, inventory counting, and cycle counts.
  • Accurate preparation of freight bills and monitoring of their completion.
  • Coordination with freight carriers and delivery services for timely and economical delivery.
  • Ensuring orders are shipped to the correct customer locations.
  • Maintaining valid certificates for forklift operations and DOT/HazMat 49 CFR 172.704 (Hazardous Material Transportation) and IATA, if applicable.
  • Adhering to all federal and state compliance requirements for shipping and receiving.
  • Assisting with ISO quality assurance.
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safety.
  • Facilitating two-way communication with coworkers and supervisors for customer satisfaction.
  • Wearing appropriate safety gear while on duty.
  • Monitoring warehouse safety and personnel access.
  • Maintaining good attendance and punctuality.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
