About The Position

At PureDry Restoration, we help homeowners and businesses recover when disaster strikes. We're looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Technician / AHERA Environmental Inspector & Sampler to join our Operations team. This unique role combines warehouse operations with environmental inspection services. You'll help maintain warehouse inventory, equipment, and operational readiness while conducting asbestos, lead, and mold inspections and collecting environmental samples throughout Northwest Washington. The ideal candidate enjoys both hands-on warehouse work and field work, is highly organized, safety-minded, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and customers. Company-paid AHERA training and certification assistance are available for qualified candidates who do not currently possess the required certifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles throughout Western Washington.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
  • Ability to complete reports and documentation accurately.
  • AHERA Building Inspector Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • AHERA Contractor/Supervisor Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Maintain all required certifications and continuing education.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Oversee daily operations of the PureDry Restoration and PureClean Carpet Cleaning warehouses.
  • Clean, inspect, maintain, and prepare equipment for emergency response operations.
  • Complete warehouse inspections and required checklists accurately and on schedule.
  • Perform weekly inventory counts and maintain inventory levels.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and vendor invoices.
  • Organize and stock equipment, supplies, and consumables.
  • Transport equipment and supplies between company locations as needed.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and recommend replacement equipment when necessary.
  • Communicate regularly with the Facilities & Fleet Manager regarding inventory, equipment repairs, maintenance, and operational needs.
  • Maintain clean warehouse, office, shop, and common areas.
  • Restock janitorial and paper supplies.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers.
  • Monitor dumpsters and exterior work areas.
  • Report facility maintenance issues promptly.
  • Conduct asbestos, lead, and mold inspections for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Travel throughout Northwest Washington to perform environmental inspections and collect samples.
  • Collect representative samples using approved equipment and industry standards.
  • Perform inspections and sampling in accordance with AHERA, OSHA, EPA, Washington State, and applicable local regulations.
  • Document inspection findings, photographs, sampling locations, and field notes.
  • Prepare professional inspection reports and recommendations.
  • Package, label, secure, and maintain chain-of-custody documentation for all samples.
  • Transport samples to the company's laboratory in Everett.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure inspections are completed safely, professionally, and efficiently.
  • Provide oversight during lead and asbestos abatement projects.
  • Help ensure compliance with AHERA, OSHA, EPA, Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, and other applicable regulations.
  • Monitor containment procedures, PPE usage, and safe work practices.
  • Communicate findings and potential concerns with project managers and leadership.
  • Promote a culture of safety by identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction.
  • Clearly explain inspection and sampling procedures to customers.
  • Represent PureDry Restoration with professionalism and integrity.
  • Protect customers' homes and businesses while maintaining clean work areas.
  • Build trust through excellent communication and attention to detail.
