About The Position

This role serves as a crucial link between production teams and customers, managing warehouse materials and outbound shipments. Responsibilities include moving materials, preparing them for production, and finalizing products for shipment. The position requires a blend of warehouse and shipping duties, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
3 - 5 years prior warehouse & shipping experience preferred.
Experience operating within AS9100 (preferred) or ISO systems.
Experience with Import & Export Compliance and Automated Export System (AES) preferred.
Forklift certification or proof of forklift proficiency preferred.
Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

Perform all job functions in the warehouse area.
Organize material for production jobs, perform ERP material transactions, and route materials to the appropriate production department.
Monitor inventory transactions, assist with cycle counts, investigate inaccuracies, and develop activities to maintain overall inventory accuracy.
Utilize a forklift to store and move product within the warehouse and facility.
Perform all job functions in the shipping area.
Overpack and stage material with necessary paperwork for daily customer shipments.
Arrange for carrier pickup and complete/file necessary shipping paperwork for customer orders.
Communicate with Inside Sales and Purchasing regarding outbound and inbound shipments.
Review, close, and file paperwork for all production jobs before storage or shipment.
Assist in maintaining and ordering consumable materials for shipment packaging and material storage.
Adapt to and coordinate changing customer schedules or requirements.
Maintain organization of all shipping documentation, physically or electronically.
Investigate and trace missing or lost shipments.
Authenticate receipt of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or other records.
Participate in cross-functional teams to improve inter-departmental processes.
Undertake any other responsibilities requested by the manager.
