About The Position

Moore Supply Co., a trade name of Hajoca Corporation, is seeking a Warehouse Teammate for their Duncanville, TX location. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate fulfillment of customer orders and maintaining warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be safety and service-oriented with a high attention to detail. Hajoca Corporation is a large, privately-held wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies, known for its principles of "Service, Integrity, Reliability." The company operates in a decentralized environment where each location functions as a Profit Center (PC), managed as a small business.

Requirements

1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
Possess a proper and valid driver’s license
Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.
Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
Stocking and maintaining the warehouse.
Picking, documenting, and packing customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
Handling shipping discrepancies per procedures or forwarding appropriate paperwork.
Identifying nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and storing them in proper warehouse locations.
Completing necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Operating warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
Informing immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise.
Ensuring security and controls are in place to protect Profit Center assets.
Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety, including removing debris.
Assisting co-workers in servicing customers.
Performing all job functions in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards.
Successfully completing required safety and compliance training programs.
Performing other reasonably related duties as assigned.
