Travel Warehouse Team Member
About The Position
Capstone Logistics is seeking high-performing Warehouse Associates for a unique hybrid role. This position involves working at a local warehouse site and also deploying with the Capstone Travel Team for projects requiring additional support. Travel assignments can last over 6 weeks and may involve working at partner facilities nationwide. The ideal candidate can quickly adapt to new operations, lead by example, and represent Capstone professionally. This role is for individuals who take pride in being reliable, learn quickly, are comfortable in new environments, and can communicate effectively. It's suited for those who uphold high standards for safety, quality, and productivity, can adapt to various warehouse settings, and are eager to build a career in warehouse operations and logistics. A willingness to travel for extended assignments of 6+ weeks and live within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated home site is required.
Requirements
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environments
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing approximately 25–75 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to work different shifts and schedules based on project requirements
- Willingness to travel and remain deployed for 6+ weeks at a time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A positive, professional attitude
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading freight
- Selecting, picking, sorting, and staging product
- Building and wrapping pallets
- Moving freight safely throughout the facility
- Operating warehouse equipment when trained and authorized
- Auditing, counting, and verifying product
- Supporting warehouse start-ups and operational transitions
- Helping teams meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Learning and following site-specific processes
- Taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by site leadership
