About The Position

The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for maintaining product integrity throughout its stay at the distribution center, from receiving through movement and storage in the warehouse to final shipment to stores. The role ensures products are handled appropriately in accordance with quality and temperature standards. The position also supports accurate receiving, inventory control, shipping, sanitation, and safe warehouse operations for Fresh and Frozen foods.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer and technology skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to maintain excellent attendance and work record.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to relate well to others, and ability to build and sustain effective work relationships.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Takes pride in a job well done.

• Prior warehouse experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy using established processes.
• Work with truck drivers and unloaders during receiving and shipping processes for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Maintain product quality and temperature standards during safe transfer and storage.
• Follow established inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Accurately complete receiving, ordering, and shipping processes.
• Consistently maintain building sanitation standards.
• Practice 200% safety accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
