About The Position

The primary duty of our Warehouse Team Member will be to load and unload tires and related inventory and verify contents of shipments and deliveries. The warehouse team member also shuttles tires to customers and perform other duties as needed specified below.

Requirements

• Experience using hand-held scanner a plus
• Forklift experience a plus
• Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work.
• Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
• Frequent lifting over 75 pounds from ground to chest high.
• Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Read ticket and perform work listed
• Work in environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season.
• Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception)
• Sense of sound (Alarms, horns and motorized equipment)
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, harnesses, protective footwear)
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Valid driver’s license; driving record must meet company’s insurance requirements
• Forklift certification (company will train)

Responsibilities

• Unload tires and related merchandise from incoming shipments
• Stock warehouse accurately per Company specifications
• Pull tires and other items to match invoice
• Load tires and other items on delivery truck
• Perform general housekeeping duties, and keep the dock and warehouse areas clean
• Perform all applicable tasks within company’s time standards
• Shuttle tires to customers
