About The Position

The Warehouse Team Leader will oversee processing personnel, coordinate daily operations, and ensure adherence to operational procedures. This role involves training and development of staff, data collection and reporting, quality inspections, and dispatch duties. A strong focus on safety and continuous improvement is essential.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years in warehouse operations.
Minimum of 2-3 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
Basic proficiency in computer operations.
Positive, reliable, and committed to timely task completion.
Basic understanding of state and federal safety regulations.
Effective in giving clear instructions, delegating tasks, and adjusting priorities as needed.
Resilient and able to adjust to changing work demands.
Strong skills in organization and problem-solving.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Familiarity with machinery and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

Oversee the activities and responsibilities of all floor level employees (Order Filler- Container Repair- Forklift Operator- Material Handler-Switcher).
Efficiently allocate resources and coordinate daily tasks.
Monitor adherence to all operational procedures by processing personnel.
Facilitate the training of new employees, as well as the retraining and cross-training of existing staff to enhance flexibility and advancement opportunities.
Gather and report relevant data for operational analysis.
Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of employees' work.
Handle dispatch responsibilities as required.
Maintain a strong focus on safety standards and practices.
Identify and recommend areas for operational improvement.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
