About The Position

Acts as a formal resource coordinating others. Coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management. We are looking for a talented Warehouse Team Lead to join our Distribution business in (Henderson, CO). This role will make an impact in the following ways: Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Provide leadership, direction, and support to warehouse team members to meet safety, quality, and delivery objectives. Coordinate workloads and delegate tasks to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Support inventory accuracy through cycle counting, inventory control, and material management processes. Conduct quality checks for damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, and non-conforming material. Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies and leading safety initiatives. Support employee training, coaching, and development to build team capability. Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, material flow, productivity, and employee development. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Collaborate effectively with operations, logistics, and support teams to achieve business goals.

Requirements

Experience leading or coordinating warehouse operations and team members.
Knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse processes.
Ability to coach, train, and develop team members.
Experience utilizing warehouse systems, tools, and inventory control methodologies.
Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
Ability to make decisions, prioritize work, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.
Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or third-party logistics environments.
Ability to identify process improvements and support operational excellence initiatives.
High school diploma/GED required.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.

Nice To Haves

Additional education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, material flow, productivity, and employee development.
Support implementation of process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
Maintain clean and organized work areas while supporting operator care and maintenance activities.
