About The Position

Drive Medical is a leading manufacturer of medical products with a strong growth record. The manufacturing kitting department lead is responsible for managing a work cell of 6 associates. This role involves reviewing the manufacturing dashboard to create and prioritize manufacturing orders (MOs). Kitting operations include receiving orders, reviewing them in the ERP system, picking components using an RF device, assembling and labeling kits, packing, and shipping. The lead is responsible for planning and executing the MO build schedule, managing inventory control activities, and communicating with the department, operations team, and sales associates. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm, with flexibility required. The pay is $24.08 per hour.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
SAP experience preferred
Desire to work organized and positive warehouse environment
Attention to detail and good time management skills
Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs., and may weigh up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

Prioritizing MO’s for team
Balancing workload across team members and business units
Ensuring order accuracy – build quantity and job specifications
Monitoring inventory – communicating out of stock components to supply chain team
Performing timely transactions – completing the MO’s and recording the time required to build the MO
Validating labels/packaging documentation
Sending weekly status reports on progress, inventory issues and weekly output
Maintaining safety, quality, and delivery standards set forth by warehouse management
Managing movement of finished goods to forwarding shipping entity
