About The Position

Leads are responsible for all regular duties of their team and are also responsible to ensure that optimum material delivery is achieved. The Lead will support the team by monitoring material deliveries, implementing continuous improvement ideas, and ensuring Safety, Quality, and Production goals are achieved.

Requirements

  • Must be able to facilitate teamwork and work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Basic Computer skills are required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous forklift experience required
  • Strong Interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task assignments

Nice To Haves

  • SAP knowledge desired but not required

Responsibilities

  • Trains, develops, monitors, and supports team members using standardized work instructions.
  • Monitors warehouse and receiving operations to ensure product quality and material delivery efficiency.
  • Assigns associates to positions to cover daily tasks.
  • Assists Team as needed to cover absentee operators as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with all Product Safety Procedure requirements; fully understand and ensure compliance with Product Safety Escalation Process.
  • Communicates and works with other shifts to ensure consistency and goals are achieved.
  • Leads the daily team start up meeting and monitors completion of end of shift routine regarding housekeeping.
  • Updates, communicates, and addresses Powerbase metrics.
  • Supports and drives participation in KPS, including Quick Kaizens.
  • Coaches team on basic problem-solving skills.
  • Understands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policies (ISO14001).
  • Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or escalate appropriate action regarding safety, health, and environmental concerns (supports Stop Work Authority).
  • Support open and transparent communication.
  • Possesses the ability to maintain professionalism and demonstrate company values each day.
  • Possesses the ability to support team and company with honesty, integrity, respect, and compassion for others.
  • Understands current quality policies and procedures (IATF 16949).
  • Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or escalate appropriate action regarding product quality.
