About The Position

Primary duties of this position are to assist in the packaging and processing of shipments. This is a temporary role with a contract duration from May 4, 2026, to August 28, 2026.

Requirements

• Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling

• Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion

• Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Employee must maintain standard processing procedures that assure accuracy, while adjusting the volume of work.
• Processing counts are measured and checked for accuracy against standard. Employee must continue to maintain accuracy throughout the month for the bonus program.
• Employee will be evaluated on the accuracy of the orders processed and his/her performance level as measured against volume demand.

Responsibilities

• Verifying every picking ticket matches the order number on the box.
• Maintain an organized shipping environment
• Keep shipments on schedule
• Good communication skills and quick responses to other departments.
• Very efficient in UPS, FedEx, Purolator, & Loomis software
• Understanding of commercial invoices
• Understanding of Freight Orders
• Package industrial electronics and related components for shipment
