About The Position
This is a Part Time position with a salary range of $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly. The role involves processing inbound product, entering information into the inventory control system, processing invoices, preparing product for customer orders, and processing pick-up orders. The position also requires ensuring the quality of product for customer orders, communicating product availability to salespeople, interacting with delivery drivers, coordinating with other work centers, and assisting with receiving deliveries. Informing management of any problems or concerns is also a key responsibility. Daily tasks include straightening boxes, sweeping floors, processing recycling, and removing trash as needed. Equipment such as a bailer, powered pallet jack, and PDA will be used. Stock rotation and adherence to safety guidelines are mandatory. Additional projects may be assigned by leadership, and some driving of product to customers may be required.
Requirements
- At least two years of retail, logistics, or warehouse experience required
- Able to collaborate and communicate with other work teams
- Detail oriented for processing customer orders
- Able to use powered and manual equipment, cutting tools, and other tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Prolonged periods standing on cement flooring
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, 50 pounds on occasion, and 80 pounds as a team lift
- Able to work in coolers
