Warehouse Support - Sioux Falls, SD
About The Position
Spee Dee Delivery is hiring a Warehouse Support employee in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The role supports daily warehouse and transportation operations by handling packages, assisting with route coverage when needed, parking and fueling vehicles, and helping maintain an efficient freight workflow. The employee may need to cover variable shifts based on business needs. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday with a 10:00 PM start. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. Compensation is $24.00–$26.00 per hour based on experience, plus a shift differential. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards, and be able to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug screening, and criminal background check. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The work requires handling freight weighing up to 75 pounds and working with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record that meets company standards.
- Be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Be able to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Be able to work with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
- Be able to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.
Nice To Haves

- At least one year of experience in leadership and the transportation industry.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission, or willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with parking and fueling vehicles.
- Cover routes when needed.
- Ensure trailer cuts are made for timely delivery to branches.
- Communicate with warehouse staff and other management to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage the security of the yard and building.
- Assist with stacking and sorting to ensure the flow of freight.
- Cover various shifts as needed.
- Perform other required duties as assigned.
