About The Position

We are hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor in Milwaukee, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing company that offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient storage and timely shipment of products. Responsible for staging, loading, and unloading products and raw materials. Maintains finished goods, WIP, and raw material inventory. Additional responsibilities include supervising warehouse associates, on-time delivery, managing accuracy of inventory, and overseeing shipping documentation. As a subject matter expert in receiving and inventory control, the Warehouse Supervisor ensures accuracy and timeliness of documentation of received goods. Key duties include supervision of hourly team members, safety compliance, forklift operation, team training and collaboration with the Production Manager. The role promotes a positive team-focused culture aligned with the company's principles and provides hands-on leadership for logistics and ERP systems. Ensuring safety processes, and compliance with health and safety regulations are essential to this position.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree: (Required)
  • Supervisory experience: 1-2 years (Required)
  • Warehouse experience: 2-5 years (Required)
  • Driver's License with clean driving record: (Required)
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; (Preferred)
  • ERP experience: 2-5 years (Preferred) / (Experience with Job Boss or Visual ERP is a Plus)
  • Forklift experience: (Preferred)
  • CDL License: (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the activities of hourly team members.
  • Leads the receiving, storing, pulling/picking, and shipping products and materials operations.
  • Creates and issues work orders through ERP system in a timely manner.
  • Leads job creation and material allocation for specific production jobs.
  • Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies Production Manager or contracts outside service facility for repair.
  • Directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform throughout the plant.
  • Maintains equipment and facility maintenance reports.
  • Drives company vehicles to pick up materials/assembly components from local vendors.
  • Prepares shipping documentation, schedules pickups, and works with third party vendors on all logistics related tasks.
  • Ensures safety processes, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
