We are growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor candidate who will partner with our growing team. The role is located at our Union Grove, WI location. You understand the heavy equipment business and have a drive for being an active part of solutions. You set the bar high and set an example for other leaders and colleagues on how to work collaboratively with the highest level of integrity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years warehouse experience.
  • Able to qualify as a fork truck operator and must maintain license.
  • Interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of employees concerned with picking product, shipping product, receiving product and inventory management.
  • Determine work procedures, set priorities and expedite workflow.
  • Issue written or oral instructions to employees.
  • Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of employees, using industry best practices.
  • Maintain harmony among employees and resolve disputes.
  • Participate in the interview and hiring process.
  • Communicate with other managers to ensure coordination of warehouse activities.
  • Communicate with outside managers to ensure coordination of other functions such as inventory management and quality assurance.
  • Identify employees’ skills and develop them by coaching and counseling employees on a regular basis.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and provide continual feedback on both positive and negative performance.
  • Monitor productivity of all persons assigned to the warehouse.
  • Develop and maintain forklift and warehouse equipment, maintenance or repair schedule according to vehicle and equipment requirements.
  • Train and certify forklift users.
  • Unpack and examine all incoming orders.
  • Perform receiving process and bring forward discrepancies.
  • Placement of all incoming orders to designated areas in the warehouse.
  • Read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Perform Cycle Counts
  • Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or select preassembled containers.
  • Package items using protective padding, set up shipping, affix identifying information and shipping instructions onto packages.
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse.
