About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping processes in a distribution environment, focusing on one of these areas to ensure high customer service, efficiency, and safety. The role supports site objectives through strategic personnel management and process improvement. This is a 2nd Shift position, working Wednesday-Saturday.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or 2 years’ experience as a team lead/supervisor in warehousing/distribution.
• Bilingual (language not specified).
• Strong attention to detail, quality control, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Clear understanding of warehouse distribution and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills and basic math skills.
• Excellent judgment, delegation, and issue escalation skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and regular attendance.
• Visual Acuity: Ability to assess work accuracy and product quality. Close visual acuity for tasks like order preparation, computer use, RF scanner operation, and inspecting small parts or defects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to meet company goals (productivity, accuracy, timeliness, cost-effectiveness).
• Manage inbound, outbound, or inventory operations, including general warehouse activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements and service level agreements.
• Maintain a safe work environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment.
• Plan schedules and assign duties to handle fluctuating workloads.
• Perform or assist with tasks similar to those supervised.
• Supervise, train, provide feedback, and assign duties to direct reports.
• Prepare daily reports analyzing production and shipping.
