About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for effectively communicating and collaborating with all departments to ensure that company policies and decisions are consistent, efficient, and in compliance. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of outgoing e-commerce orders in a high-volume, fast-paced distribution center, supervising warehouse personnel, and ensuring business objectives are met.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D)
  • 2 years of leadership experience in ecommerce
  • Valid driver's license and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 4 years
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency and knowledge.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and programs as required.
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and with subordinates, peers, and outside managers and departments across the Company.
  • Exceptional customer service centric values.
  • Willingness to work any shift including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Initiating and managing departmental hiring, performance management, and termination processes in collaboration with senior management.
  • Communicating effectively and in a timely manner with internal and external customers to resolve issues.
  • Assisting customers with any questions or issues they might have.
  • Managing the effective day-to-day operation of outgoing ecommerce orders in a high-volume, fast-paced distribution center.
  • Supervising the performance of warehouse personnel team members to optimally achieve business objectives.
  • Completing the Performance Management process using FMP’s system and process for all warehouse personnel on an annual basis.
  • Assisting GM with monthly safety meetings and safety inspections to ensure safe operations at all times.
  • Recommending and conducting disciplinary action with reporting personnel as needed under the guidance of General Manager and Human Resources.
  • Utilizing available systems and technology to perform daily tasks using systems such as Ulti-Pro and/or FMP’s ordering or inventory systems such as JMO and shipping software.
  • Monitoring daily warehouse and delivery volume and expense to ensure profitable operations.
  • Training and instructing employees on the most efficient means of executing their tasks and managing the new hire process of all new personnel.
  • Ensuring all warehouse assignments are completed on a daily basis.
  • Performing all additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management in a timely manner.
