About The Position

The individuals selected for this position are responsible for monitoring and supervising a team’s efficiency and ensuring company goals and objectives are being met by each employee. This role has supervisory responsibilities and requires the candidate to understand and execute subordinates job functions.

Requirements

  • Must be over the age of 21.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos.
  • Ability to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Ability to create scheduling and delegating tasks, plan meetings, share and configuring calendars electronically.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of a calculator or abacus.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution, leadership, time and priority management.
  • High integrity.
  • Ability to work as part of the team.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday.
  • Regularly requires standing, walking, or bending; use of hands and fingers to handle or feel; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balance; talking and hearing.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper tools.
  • Must be able to use an industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of supervisor or relevant role experience.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments.
  • High school diploma or a general education degree (GED) is preferred, but experience may suffice.
  • Counting is a major plus as your count becomes inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor employee productivity and performance expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and other departments.
  • Learn and perform subordinates job descriptions, including warehouse associates, drivers, and cleaning crew.
  • Maintain and teach organization skills.
  • Be responsible for inventory integrity.
  • Be responsible for vehicle maintenance.
  • Be responsible for on-time customer order delivery.
  • Ensure product replenishment for daily volume needs.
  • Partner with upper management for employee coaching and training.
  • Create a weekly or bi-weekly schedule for employees.
  • Monitor and supervise employee's attendance and punctuality.
  • Efficiently carry out all directives given by the Management Team.
  • Ensure a clean workplace.
  • Work in accordance with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Be available to travel to local and state facilities as required.
  • Ensure attendance and timeliness.
