About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for daily shift warehouse operations and associated administrative responsibilities. This role focuses on improving and maintaining shipping efficiency through workflow analysis, training, productivity drives, and associate engagement. The supervisor ensures customer requirements are met, productivity levels are achieved effectively, and quality objectives are maintained. They also ensure product and process quality by adhering to design specifications, engineering routers, and process capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes and World Class Manufacturing principles. The role involves completing productivity improvement projects by training and guiding hourly personnel, contributing to team efforts, and communicating compliance issues related to company guidelines, union contracts, and employment laws. Additionally, the supervisor provides coaching and guidance, administers corrective actions, and enforces company policies and procedures, including those related to Human Resources, Safety, Quality, and Environment. They are also responsible for creating and implementing cost savings through LEAN initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform the following: reach, bend, and lift objects weighing seventy-five pounds to shoulder level or above, read labels and shipping tickets at a height of thirty feet
  • Ability to work twelve-hour days while operating a powered industrial truck
  • Ability to step on and off a height of twenty-four inches to operate machinery
  • Learn, understand, and communicate compliance issues related to company guidelines, union contracts, and employment laws.
  • Provide coaching and guidance as required, including but not limited to the administration of the corrective action and all company policies.
  • Assure adherence and enforce company policies and procedures including but not limited to Human Resources, Safety, Quality, and Environment
  • Create and implement cost savings thru LEAN initiatives
