About The Position

RJ Schinner, a growing, family-owned wholesale redistributor with over 70 years of success, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their 1st shift. The company has 20 distribution centers throughout the US, over 600 employees, and distributes disposable paper, cleaning, and food service packaging products to distributors in 48 states. Headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI, RJ Schinner was founded in 1951 and has been recognized for its success and growth. The Warehouse Supervisor will superintend all 1st shift warehouse activities and employees, ensuring accurate picking, shipments, and appropriate handling of merchandise. This role requires familiarity with distribution center concepts, practices, and procedures, and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The position involves performing a variety of complicated tasks and requires a degree of creativity and latitude. The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years warehouse operations experience or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of inventory control and SKU management experience
• High degree of attention to detail
• Able to perform light to heavy physical tasks; able to lift 50 lbs. safely
• Collaborates with all levels within the organization
• Proficiently operates a variety of powered industrial trucks
• Comfortable with exposure to environmental conditions (e.g. heat/cold; noise, dust)
• Comfortable with heights (25’-30’)

Nice To Haves

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in picking or shipment of products
• Eclipse Warehouse Management System background a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates performance of direct reports
• Ensures accuracy and documentation of all outbound shipments
• Performs operations and safety checks on all powered industrial trucks
• Promotes and enforces workplace safety protocol for department/branch
• Provides training on processes and procedures for 2nd shift employees
• Communicates business plans and departmental goals and objectives
• Other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager
