About The Position
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all activities of the Shipping and Receiving Department to assure accurate records of inventory as well as timely shipping of finished product to ensure customer satisfaction. The role will be responsible for the safety and performance of the warehouse team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 – 3 years relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Working knowledge of Shipping Department practices
- Good communicate both orally and in writing.
- Experience and proficiency in mathematics
- Exhibit strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Computer literate in MS Office Suite and appropriate maintenance related software
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and direction to Maintenance Department in support of manufacturing and distribution.
- Plan, organize, and schedule the mechanical and/or electrical/electronic maintenance of manufacturing and distribution machines and equipment to maximize labor and material utilization and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accuracy and control of finished goods inventory and direct cycle count activities, including reconciliation.
- Arrange and schedule overtime among warehouse associates.
- Prioritize shipping schedule and communicate directly with the sales, supply chain and manufacturing, any change in schedule or any manufacturing problem that will affect delivery.
- Order supplies.
- Process all paperwork associated with all described duties.
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety training and communications as required.
- Provide an environment for Lean Six Sigma culture, techniques and principles to flourish within the warehouse.
