About The Position

Technica LLC seeks to fill an IPBO Supervisor position to perform on a Government Contract with a place of performance at Ft. Bliss, TX. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Installation Property Book Office, attending meetings, and serving as the Contractor's on-site Supervisor and Point of Contact for Government representatives. The supervisor will provide overall direction for Contractor employees in the Installation Property Book Office, SSMO, and Arms Room operations, ensuring efficient resource utilization and accurate, timely reporting. Responsibilities also include screening applicants, conducting interviews, performing employee discipline counseling, conducting performance reviews, and approving timesheets.

Requirements

  • A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • An understanding of the needs of the organizations serviced and their overall mission completion concerns.
  • Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to quickly research and collect the necessary data, to establish the applicable facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of systematic established guidelines.
  • Must have several years of experience in and with military supply and logistics systems at the Brigade or above levels.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of GCSS-A Unit Supply and Property Book applications, oversee and perform required duties using US Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS) and computer automation equipment.
  • Must have a general knowledge of the SSMO systems and operations.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance to perform duties and attend classified meeting and briefings, this is a minimum requirement as the IPBO supply supervisor.
  • Must possess a civilian driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor or higher degree in business, management, logistics or the equivalent civilian/military service schools graduations or prior supervisory experience (normally 8 plus years) to verify the abilities and competence required to perform in a wide scope of supply related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Installation Property Book Office.
  • Attend scheduled and unscheduled meetings and briefings.
  • Be the Contractor's on-site Supervisor and POC for Government representatives.
  • Provide overall supervision for Contractor employees to include, but not limited to, planning and supervision for the Installation Property Book Office, , SSMO, and Arms Room operations.
  • Ensure that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.
  • Ensure that accurate and timely reports are provided.
  • Screen applicants and conduct interviews for open positions.
  • Perform employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other personnel reporting.
  • Review and approves timesheets.
  • Performs other duties and additional duties as assigned.
