If the role interests you and you would like to be considered we encourage you to apply! We’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our new 1.3M sq ft foot Distribution Center in Marysville, OH! The DC services internal and external customers, ensuring raw materials and finished goods are distributed on time and at the lowest possible cost. If you enjoy a fast-paced, high energy and seasonal manufacturing environment then you will fit in well as a Warehouse Supervisor for Scotts Miracle-Gro. On a day-to-day basis you are responsible for all aspects of loading and unloading trucks and warehousing products produced from our production plant s.

Requirements

At least 5 years experience in warehouse supervision or supervision in a production environment.
Basic understanding of distribution, transportation, inventory control, and freight routing.
Computer skills including, but not limited to, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
Strong leadership skills and a highly effective communicator with great time management.
The ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and/or hours within a seasonal business.
Strong administrative and planning skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related study preferred.
Including weekends during our busy season.
SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead shift operations within the Marysville Distribution Center.
Ensure the customer shipping schedule is obtained and review the following shifts and lend help as needed.
Direct our distribution associates to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
Work with the packaging department to produce great product quality as well as ensure 100% packaging uptime associated with the distribution center.
Utilize SAP to monitor inventory and quality; make adjustments when required.
Train and develop associates in surge and loading procedures as well as customer specific requirements.
Train and enforce Scotts Miracle-Gro policies and procedures.
Ensure a safe and compliant work area.
Monitor and order services or supplies as needed.
Manage overtime requirements based on manpower needs that are balanced by the budget.
Work with the returns coordinator on processing returned products.
Set and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
