About The Position

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage and supervise local parcel delivery operations, including sorting, pickup, and dispatch. This role involves forecasting driver needs, planning routes, recruiting drivers, and assigning tasks to warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot operational issues, learn internal logistics software, and handle data tasks. Responsibilities include generating daily pickup tasks, collaborating across departments for resource allocation, and managing disruptions like vehicle breakdowns or driver absences. Effective communication with third parties and assistance to drivers are crucial. The role also requires managing exception handling and customer complaints, ensuring timely resolutions, and suggesting process improvements. On-the-job training will be provided through a rotational approach with different supervisors overseeing various tasks.

Requirements

Fluent in both Chinese and English (written & spoken).
Must have legal work authorization in the U.S.
Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across dispatch, drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams.
Able to multitask under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
Comfortable with phone and email communication.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and have solid communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Customer service or warehouse/logistics experience is a plus.
No extensive prior experience required for this specialist role.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise local parcel delivery operations, such as sorting, pickup, and dispatch.
Forecast driver’s needs, plan DSP driver routes, and recruit/interview drivers.
Assign tasks to frontline and outsourced warehouse staff, enhancing team cohesion.
Troubleshoot operational issues, learn internal warehouse/logistics software, and perform data handling tasks.
Generate daily pickup tasks, review, and distribute them to the dispatch team.
Collaborate across departments to allocate driver resources effectively.
Address vehicle breakdowns, driver absences, and other disruptions.
Communicate task changes with third parties and assist drivers in resolving issues during pickup and delivery.
Manage exception handling and complaints, including delays or missed pickups.
Work with customers and internal/external teams to ensure timely resolutions and close service loops.
Track recurring issues and provide process improvement suggestions.
