About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the inventory and reliability of materials at least 95% both physical and theoretical system of raw material warehouses, WIP and Shipments. This role manages the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials, and ensures the rotation of materials through the PEPS system (first entries, first departures/FIFO). The supervisor also manages human resources for task distribution, records goods movement, participates in improvement projects, updates stock levels, and conducts annual inventories. Adherence to YF iOS work instructions, environmental regulations, and safety protocols is crucial. Common requirements include understanding and applying IOS, EHS, Product Safety, Compliance, and Information Security requirements, as well as complying with all company policies. The role may require additional hours and overtime, multitasking, professional interaction with stakeholders, and predictable attendance.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with warehouse/materials supervision with previous experience supervising people.
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license
  • Able to pass forklift certification testing.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Experience with Microsoft systems
  • Experience with warehouse management systems.
  • Experienced coaching employees (performance reviews/corrective actions)
  • Counting/Basic math skills
  • English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)

  • Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
  • 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Bi-lingual a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the inventory and reliability of materials at least 95% both physical and theoretical system of raw material warehouses, WIP and Shipments
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
  • Ensure that the rotation of materials in all warehouses is carried out through the PEPS system (first entries, first departures/FIFO)
  • Manage the human resources of your staff for the distribution of tasks in the plant.
  • Record receiving and distribution of goods (production material) in warehouse.
  • Participate and implement improvement projects for warehouse operations.
  • Update of stock level for Material coordinators
  • Participate in annual inventory.
  • Follow YF iOS work instructions and other procedures concerning warehouse management.
  • Follow legal and other requirements concerning environment protection.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and address potential hazards promptly.
  • Understand, apply and meet all function related IOS requirements.
  • Understand, apply and meet all function related EHS requirements.
  • Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.
  • Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements
  • Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.
