About The Position

BlueLinx is seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensure quality control, and maintain high safety standards. The role involves optimizing workflows, managing inventory, and fostering a high-performing team. The supervisor leads receiving, storage, and shipping operations; supports accurate order fulfillment and inventory control; and promotes productivity and performance. The position also oversees warehouse equipment, fleet, and facility maintenance and develops and upholds safety programs in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations.

BlueLinx is a building products distributor headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, with more than 2,000 associates and over 70,000 branded and private-label SKUs. It distributes products to approximately 15,000 customers, including dealers and specialty distributors.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of logistics experience in a warehousing environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant logistics tools.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
• Ensure error-free order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Motivate and coach a team to meet productivity and performance goals.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery and material handling processes.
• Manage maintenance of warehouse equipment, fleet, and facilities.
• Develop and uphold safety programs, adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations.
