The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and constantly improving day-to-day floor operations to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and production efficiencies, through meeting required deadlines and maintaining a controlled and operational in-flow/out-flow of products to ensure customer satisfaction. This role provides leadership and supervision to distribution team members within a specific functional area and/or process. The supervisor supports department managers to ensure timely, accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and the optimization of resources and processes. They manage team members to ensure compliance with policies/procedures, process improvement, and drive team member initiatives to create and promote an engagement environment. The supervisor maintains, refines, and improves processes within the area to meet customer requirements, including deadlines and quality standards. They manage day-to-day scheduling, staffing, material management, compliance, training, and auditing activities. A positive and engaging working environment is fostered, focusing on DC metrics and housekeeping standards. Emphasis is placed on safety and quality commitments for the department, ensuring 100% compliance with processes and procedures. The supervisor must have an in-depth understanding of the departments DC processes and functions, identify key variables influencing workflow, and develop/implement departmental changes for optimization. Performance measurements and internal auditing processes are developed to evaluate operations efficiency and quality. Results are delivered in support of company strategy and expectations. Team members are supervised, trained, and developed. Coaching and corrective action are effectively communicated to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, treating team members fairly and with respect. Timely feedback and development are provided, including performance evaluations, recognition, and disciplinary action. Hiring activities within the DC are supported and participated in. Various teams for improvement, safety, and engagement are facilitated or led. The supervisor must be able to meet departmental expectations to effectively drive results and operate PIE for specific departments. Financial accounts for department personnel, such as payroll and expenses, are assisted in managing.
