Warehouse Supervisor
About The Position
Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all warehouse functions. This includes inventory movement, ordering, processing, shipping, and receiving. The role ensures effective warehouse performance and maintains inventory control of parts, including monitoring cycle counts, accuracy of orders picked and shipped, proper placement of parts into inventory and warehouse equipment. The supervisor also maintains warehouse standards for layout, inventory placement, cleanliness, and safety. This position works with the Parts Manager and Director to supervise and coordinate annual inventory counts, and coordinates and schedules maintenance, inspections, and repairs for location delivery vehicles. The role oversees shipping and receiving functions at all locations, as well as dispatcher or dispatching at the location. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor hires and maintains staff of qualified warehouse and delivery driver personnel and may provide maintenance of the warehouse facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Minimum of two years related experience and/or training

- Supervises all warehouse and delivery driver personnel which includes interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
