About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations within the distribution center, ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products. This role leads a small warehouse team, manages inventory and systems, and drives continuous improvement to meet service, cost, and productivity goals. This position also takes on ISO 9001 criteria and responds to Quality issues as a part of managing the warehouse. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience, including supervisory or management responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of distribution operations, inventory control, ISO Quality Systems and labor management
  • Experience working with WMS and ERP systems
  • Ability to work onsite M-F 8am-5pm with a one hour lunch break.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience in high-volume or multi-shift distribution environments
  • Forklift and material-handling equipment experience
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or supply chain certifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse activities including inbound, outbound, and inventory control functions
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer service and delivery commitments
  • Plan and manage labor schedules to meet workload demands and productivity targets
  • Optimize warehouse layout, slotting, and material flow for efficiency
  • Responds to Quality issues with communication to vendors, customers, and maintains ISO compliance.
  • Product school training will be required
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and system controls
  • Oversee use of WMS/ERP systems to track inventory, orders, and performance
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shipping errors
  • Supervise, train, and develop warehouse supervisors and hourly associates
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular reviews
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Product school attendance may be required
  • Enforce all safety policies and OSHA regulations within the distribution center
  • Conduct safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with Transportation, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Sales teams
  • Communicate operational status, challenges, and improvements to leadership
  • Support peak season planning and special projects
