About The Position

Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of helpers, laborers, or material movers, hand.

Requirements

  • High School or GED.
  • Demonstration of leadership skills and abilities.
  • Computer literate, Microsoft suite is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with complex kinds of customers.
  • Proven track record of individual accomplishment, contribution, and team-based success.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Coordination: Changing what is done based on other people's actions.
  • Speaking: Talking to others.
  • Management of Personnel Resources: Selecting and managing the best workers for a job.
  • Active Listening: Listening to others, not interrupting, and asking good questions.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with coworkers to communicate work orders or plans.
  • Train transportation or material moving personnel.
  • Verify information or specifications.
  • Provide transportation information to passengers or customers.
  • Evaluate performance of applicants, trainees, or employees.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, or service standards.
