About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day responsibilities working in a distribution warehouse. They will oversee safety and regulatory compliance, achieve site metrics that ensures on time delivery, investigate customer complaints, to facilitate warehouse efficiency.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. College degree or equivalent work experience.
3 + years working in a shipping and receiving warehouse
Strong supervisory and communication skills
Effective conflict resolution skills
Capability for coaching, mentoring, and growing direct reports
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and RF tracking technology
Prior experience with SAP or similar systems
Previous experience providing forklift operation certification and retraining.
Basic familiarity with OSHA regulations (i.e. break time, lunch periods, PPE requirements, etc.)
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Able to navigate changes smoothly.

Responsibilities

Logistics coordinating with carriers to ensure inbound and outbound delivery schedules are met.
Ensure warehouse KPIs are met.
Manage inventory control processes for the warehouse.
Ensure safety culture is maintained.
Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized fashion.
Provide specific job-related training for employees and very that other site-specific training is completed.
Operational oversight to ensure workflow is efficiently completed on a timely basis.
Coordinate and schedule department PTO.
Optimize warehouse space and workflow to improve efficiency.
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
