Warehouse Supervisor
About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily dock and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for coordinating labor, equipment, inventory, safety, and operational processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with the Director of Operations to align daily activities with company goals while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or fulfillment environments, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and the flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, transportation, or fulfillment operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and labor management.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse, dock, logistics, and fulfillment operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety goals are achieved.
- Schedule and manage labor, equipment, and resources to meet operational demands while controlling costs.
- Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse associates to improve performance and maintain operational standards.
- Monitor loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and documentation processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA, and all workplace safety regulations.
- Conduct facility inspections, equipment checks, and safety meetings to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with Operations Management and cross-functional departments to support business objectives and customer requirements.
- Resolve operational, employee, and customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
