The Warehouse Supervisor is a hands-on position responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation. This role requires leading by example and familiarity with all warehouse positions to assist as needed, ensuring efficient and timely completion of work. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a leadership role within a Warehouse Department or related area
  • ERP (SAP) experience is desirable
  • Experience with “just in time” manufacturing preferred
  • Basic computer skills essential
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and to positively coach and motivate others
  • Ability to work independently and cross functionally, and to positively coach and motivate others.
  • Strong working knowledge of the warehouse operation
  • Ability to receive direction and organize work and staffing schedules
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.
  • Available for required overtime to support business needs and/or critical situations.
  • Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
  • Perform assigned duties following "Good Manufacturing Practices.”
  • Actively participate in special teams representing the warehouse department.
  • Maintain a clean & safe work environment.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for warehouse employees, including shift scheduling, motivation, training, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, attendance monitoring, and disciplinary action.
  • Manage inventory, conduct shift start meetings, maintain warehouse housekeeping, research and resolve shipping errors, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the team in promoting the company safety program by identifying and eliminating risks.
  • Assist with accident investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Collaborate with production, customer service, and distribution to meet customer order fulfillment requirements.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction regarding quality, load accuracy, and on-time delivery while ensuring operational efficiencies.
  • Communicate effectively with management and employees to ensure efficient and timely warehouse operations with minimal errors.
  • Follow chain-of-command and documentation procedures.
  • Assist with training and integrating new employees.
  • Oversee daily goals and schedules to ensure they are met.
  • Process weekly payroll.
  • Be flexible to vary work shifts based on business and staffing needs.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
