About The Position

City Brewery is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives. The warehouse supervisor will also be responsible for central receiving, ingredient inventory/balancing/storage, and chemical storage.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience, preferably within a union environment.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, advanced computer skills.
  • WMS knowledge helpful.
  • Highly organized/self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Selected candidate must be willing to work any shift and weekends when necessary to cover the needs of the business.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. A combination of education/military leadership/ work experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and ensure the accurate and efficient flow of all palletizers, transfers, shipments, inbound supplies and trucks.
  • Supervise the daily inventory, storage and movement of all packaging materials and finished product. Responsible for finished product, packaging material and ingredient stock rotation.
  • Count, balance, and check proper tagging procedures for all hold product vs. hold report. Monitor and control daily hold adjustments.
  • Serve as direct contact for Quality Department.
  • File and track all hold dumping/sorting/repacking documents per TTB regulations.
  • Supervise employee training, coaching and discipline.
  • Schedule replacement coverage for call-ins.
  • Supervise all scanning, WMS functions, meters versus receipts and various reports.
  • Ensure proper operations of all on board forklift scanners, radios, cradles and WMS equipment.
  • Record all daily forklift inspection reports.
  • Enforce policies to stay within internal, federal, state and local regulations. Responsible for compliance of GMP, Fire codes, insurance guidelines, sanitation, pest control, safety, OSHA, FDA, DMV and TTB.
  • Support the Packaging, Customer Service, Brewing, Accounting, Purchasing and Quality Assurance departments as needed.
