WHAT'S NEW WITH APTAR We have an exciting position open in Mukwonago WI: Warehouse Supervisor Position Summary Directs the operation and service activities of the warehouse, safety, receiving, shipping, order fulfillment and inventory control.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED, College Degree preferred
• Team lead experience in warehousing, distribution and/or inventory control required
• Ability to be certified on powered industrial equipment
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• Must possess a strong teamwork and highly motivated mentality, high energy level, and the ability to work well under pressure
• Must possess strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities and mathematical skills
• Must be a problem-solver, and able to assist with root cause analysis and implement preventative actions
• Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral

Responsibilities

• Positively lead a diverse group of office staff and warehouse personnel
• Be accountable for timely receiving, driver management, bills of lading generation, and finished goods warehouse costs, supplies, the quality and quantity of warehouse performance and effective utilization of man-hours, skills, machines, equipment and facilities
• Participate in planning labor requirements and controls related to warehouse and shipping/receiving.
• Supervise effective inventory control and distribution of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods
• Expedite daily schedules, investigate delays and initiate corrective actions to assure total customer satisfaction through efficient procedures.
• Coordinate programs, including but not limited to, 5S, warehouse, and inventory control, such as cost reduction, preventive maintenance, training, staffing, safety, and housekeeping
• Understands and complies with all company policies and regulations.
• Effectively communicating and administering these policies to all employees
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and coach warehouse personnel regarding absences, disciplinary actions and performance reviews
• Lead problem solving activities, using strong analytical skills and root cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate information effectively to Logistics Manager and others within the company.
• Understands and complies with all safety regulations
• Must be willing and able to perform all functions of warehousing job responsibilities
• All other duties as assigned
