About The Position

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their new 1.3M sq ft Distribution Center in Marysville, OH. This Distribution Center services internal and external customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution of raw materials and finished goods. The role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, and seasonal manufacturing environment. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all aspects of loading, unloading trucks, and warehousing products from production plants.

Requirements

At least 5 years experience in warehouse supervision or supervision in a production environment.
Basic understanding of distribution, transportation, inventory control, and freight routing.
Computer skills including, but not limited to, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
Strong leadership skills and a highly effective communicator with great time management.
The ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and/or hours within a seasonal business.
Strong administrative and planning skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related study.
SAP experience.

Responsibilities

Lead shift operations within the Marysville Distribution Center.
Ensure the customer shipping schedule is obtained and review the following shifts and lend help as needed.
Direct distribution associates to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
Work with the packaging department to produce great product quality and ensure 100% packaging uptime associated with the distribution center.
Utilize SAP to monitor inventory and quality; make adjustments when required.
Train and develop associates in surge and loading procedures as well as customer specific requirements.
Train and enforce Scotts Miracle-Gro policies and procedures.
Ensure a safe and compliant work area.
Monitor and order services or supplies as needed.
Manage overtime requirements based on manpower needs that are balanced by the budget.
Work with the returns coordinator on processing returned products.
Set and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
