About The Position

At Capital Beer & Beverage we pour our hearts into what we do “SELL BEER FOR A LIVING”. We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Team. In this role you will be responsible for managing a Team of Warehouse Associates and oversee the day-to-day operations of the department. You will ensure the receiving, storage and restocking of products from suppliers and other sources.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in distribution required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with State laws.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
• Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
• Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
• Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
• Supervises Warehouse Lead Workers or Warehouse Workers to ensure timely reports of products billed to retailers, but not shipped, to insure timely preparation of credit memos.
• Reports on building security, vehicle security and warehouse loading productivity.
• Assist Warehouse Manager with hiring and training of new employees.
• Schedules and oversees warehouse staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
• Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions if needed.
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
• Resolves routine equipment issues.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
