About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods. This role oversees inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and logistics activities while driving operational excellence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Warehouse Supervisor provides both strategic and hands-on leadership, ensuring high levels of customer service, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost efficiency. This position plays a critical role in supporting business objectives through effective warehouse management, team development, and cross-functional collaboration. This position supports first-shift schedule: Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility required to cover overtime during the week based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a Warehouse or Distribution environment with at least 2 of these years in a leadership role (leading teams of 15+).
  • Strong understanding of material logistics processes, inventory accuracy/systems, and production/order requirements.
  • Experience with ERP & WMS systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred) preferred)
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, DMAIC).
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance programs, and operational standardization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and efficient material flow to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence by monitoring performance, resolving issues, optimizing warehouse layouts, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while fostering a strong culture of workplace safety.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless operational execution.
  • Analyze operational metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.
