About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse workers and forklift operators. This role involves facilitating the receiving, put away, storage (inventory), and shipping of product in a timely and efficient manner. The supervisor must be knowledgeable of various product types and the overall warehouse process, from unloading containers to shipping from the warehouse. They will also be responsible for understanding the necessary paperwork and utilizing computer systems that support production and inventory, ensuring safe and competent operation of equipment in both production and computer environments.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalency required.
Microsoft Office and general computer experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Vocational school preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Coffee experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse workers and forklift operators.
Facilitate the receiving, put away, storage (inventory), and shipping of product in a timely and efficient manner.
Understand the paperwork involved and utilize computer systems that support production and inventory.
Ensure safe and competent operation of equipment within both production and computer environments.
Prioritize daily and weekly production requirements.
Respond to changes in schedule and customer requests as appropriate.
Maintain a sanitary and safe work environment; facilitate morning safety and communications meetings.
Support management in achieving quality targets.
Work with maintenance personnel on routine preventive equipment and building and grounds maintenance and repair.
Identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of quality, equipment efficiency, personnel, and resource utilization.
Fill in at the warehouse as needed.
Supervise warehouse workers, sanitation workers, and forklift operators.
