About The Position

Under general direction, lead a team of warehouse drivers at an offsite warehouse location over 4 different shifts. This role is responsible for accomplishing production requirements by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations or other related fields (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree or combination of both).
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret inbound/outbound delivery schedule.
  • Computer familiarity with MS Word, Excel.
  • Forklift experience required (2 years minimum experience).
  • Forklift Trainer Certified.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Completes production plan by scheduling, assigning, & requisitioning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating, training, and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for facilitation, support, and continuous training of employee work process.
  • Performs performance reviews for new hires, those transitioning to new positions, and others as necessary.
  • Works with the transportation team (internal/external customers) on inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action in conjunction with Human Resources.
  • Maintains good employee relations through coaching and consistent application of employee relations policies.
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment/techniques, and arranging for proper maintenance of machines and equipment.
  • Ensures the delivery of exceptional quality products and services to our customers as per Clarios quality systems.
  • Provides support to the management team by reporting daily indicators, inventory accuracy, and loads shipped.
  • Investigates material variances, reports results of investigation, and recommends improvements.
  • Audits, solicits, and encourages process, procedure, and equipment improvements from team members.
  • Strives to meet or exceed department performance goals and measurements.
  • Manages cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensures 5S practices and housekeeping are being followed.
  • Manages RF devices.
