Warehouse Supervisor (Shift 5:00pm- 2:00am)

About The Position

This role is responsible for supervising warehouse receiving and picking activities to ensure efficient operation. The supervisor will also perform the duties of a storeman in the inbound and outbound teams, including receiving goods and picking shop orders, and can perform the functions of a warehouse clerk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: eight (8) to ten (10) years of combined experience in Process reengineering/Project management/Quantitative analysis/Process modeling/Change management.
  • Master's Degree: five (5) years of combined experience in Process reengineering/Project management/Quantitative analysis/Process modeling/Change management.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis and modeling work.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Significant large-scale project management experience, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Comfortable working with and presenting to Executive and Senior Management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under pressure, good organization and coordination skills.
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English).

Nice To Haves

  • Process reengineering/Project management/Quantitative analysis/Process modeling/Change management preferred.
  • Formal project management training preferred.
  • Master Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Site Leadership Team, project sponsors (site and divisional), and area managers to analyze core operational/business activities with the goal of identifying and eliminating non-value added activities throughout the many value-streams.
  • Lead process improvement and waste reduction projects of varying size and complexity in any of the functional areas of the site (e.g., Materials Management, PPU's, Quality Assurance and Control, etc.).
  • Consulted for occasional expertise and involvement in projects outside the boundaries of the site as the full value-stream may dictate (e.g., suppliers).
  • Participate in fostering a culture of continuous innovation and acceptance of change throughout the site.
