Warehouse Supervisor
About The Position
BlueLinx is seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure quality control, and maintain top-notch safety standards. BlueLinx is one of America’s largest distributors of building products, with over 70,000 branded and private-label SKUs. Headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, we have over 2,000 associates and distribute our comprehensive range of structural and specialty products to approximately 15,000 national, regional, and local dealers, as well as specialty distributors, national home centers, industrial, and manufactured housing customers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of logistics experience in a warehousing environment
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant logistics tools
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of supervisory experience
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and project management
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Ensure error-free order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations
- Motivate and coach a team to meet productivity and performance goals
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery and material handling processes
- Manage maintenance of warehouse equipment, fleet, and facilities
- Develop and uphold safety programs, adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations
