Warehouse Supervisor
About The Position
Crown Distributors, a family-owned distributor, keeps Northeast Kansas supplied with the beer, beverage, and non-alcoholic brands retail accounts depend on. We're hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Topeka order selection team. This is a leadership role that runs from the floor, not a desk. You set the pace for the shift and flex to where the work needs you: heavier on picking some nights, heavier on loading others, depending on volume and staffing. Either way, you're the one watching accuracy and cases per hour, keeping equipment ready, and securing the building once the last truck is loaded.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a warehouse lead, shift supervisor, military team lead, or equivalent operational leadership experience.
- Comfortable operating an electric pallet jack and forklift (certification provided if needed).
- Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for a full shift.
- Ability to lift 25-pound cases repetitively.
- Ability to occasionally handle kegs weighing up to 165 pounds.
- Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully completing applicable background screenings, a post-offer physical examination, and drug screening consistent with company policy and applicable law.

Responsibilities
- Lead the shift-start huddle and lead the 2nd shift Order Selector team through picking, loading, and daily production goals.
- Train new selectors on safe equipment operation, accurate picking with our ring-scanner system, and clean pallet stacking.
- Provide hands-on support by operating an electric pallet jack or forklift to meet dispatch deadlines.
- Organize the warehouse, clean work areas, and secure the building at the end of the shift.
- Identify and report equipment issues to operations management.
- Uphold safety standards and address concerns promptly.
- Partner with the Warehouse Manager and HR on hiring, staffing, coaching, and corrective action for the team.
- Achieve shift targets for cases-per-hour (CPH), on-time loading, and order accuracy.
- Make real-time staffing and production decisions on shift within defined limits.
