About The Position

The successful candidate will supervise all warehouse functions, including inventory control, receiving and processing incoming material, scheduling warehouse staff, measuring and cutting flooring products, and overseeing the accurate and timely loading of materials onto subcontractor vehicles. This working supervisor will also operate a forklift and perform hands-on tasks as needed to keep daily operations running smoothly. Real Floors Commercial, Inc. Requirements

  • 2+ years of warehouse leadership experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage priorities and team performance
  • Experience with inventory control systems and cycle counts
  • Forklift certified – required
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft; able to enter data and create work orders
  • Understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices
  • Ability to lift and carry products that weigh 50 to 75 lbs. on a repetitive basis

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA Warehouse Safety certification or Certified Warehouse Logistics Professional (CWLP) – preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including supervising team activities and ensuring efficient workflow
  • Manage inventory using database and scanning tools, including receiving and processing incoming materials and updating system records
  • Stage and load materials for delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare orders for pickup and delivery
  • Coordinate and verify delivery schedules with Construction Managers
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep
  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Utilize computer systems to track inventory, receiving, and delivery processes
  • Perform general warehouse duties and provide backup support for deliveries as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
