About The Position

Babcock is seeking a motivated Storeperson to join their dynamic Defence team supporting Australia’s Defence programs. Based at their facility in Henderson WA, the Storeperson will play an essential role in the flow of materials and workshop operations that keep Australia’s defence capabilities mission-ready. The role involves managing goods receipt and dispatch, handling inventory and ERP transactions, operating forklifts, ensuring the store remains clean and efficient, and supporting the workshop with tasks like sandblasting, painting, and ultrasonic cleaning. The Storeperson will also liaise with local suppliers, manage recycling processes, and help assess inventory usage across critical components. This is an opportunity to be part of a high-performing team working on significant Defence programs.

Requirements

Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain)
Previous experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of warehouse operations
Experience using ERP systems in an operational function
Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence
Forklift Licence
